Question of the Day
The Internet is a very huge place to the novice marketer.
Yet time after time myself and fellow trainers are left
to question why you do not reach out to other trainees.
When you join a program that offers you phone training or
classes where you learn to recruit, build relationships
and market in general, why do you isolate yourself from
fellow members?
Eventually you will become a member of a mastermind or a
personal group of marketers who meet to help one another.
There you will find, it is the skills of each person will
make up the whole ... and that is what equals success.
Have you ever fallen victim to a marketer who goes
on a recruiting frenzy then fails you big time in
the much needed support department?
You are encouraged to add them to your contact
list whether it be ICQ, MSN messengr or Yahoo or
any other chat connection. On and on they go
suggesting this is all part of the team support
they offer.
You do just that. You add them in good faith as
directed. Then comes the day you need their advice
and you get ...
Like, "Who are you? How did you get my ICQ #? ...
oh ... you ARE a member of my team ... sorry, I
thought you were someone spamming me, why don't you
properly introduce yourself next time?"
Some Team Leader eh? Doesn't even know the name
or probably the number of people on his team?
I would think that "Mr. Numbers player" should
head up your list of people to avoid as mentors.
Let this type of marketer who recruits like crazy,
and throws his people out there to see who sticks
play in someone else's back yard.
Whether the people you work with are called an upline
and your people are called downline affiliate marketers, or
whether you become a member of a specific team, the
one thing you should be able to count on is that your
sponsor/team leader at least makes the attempt to get
to know you.
Relationship building begins with and among all team
members. It is your training grounds that helps put
the teeth in 'the money is in the follow up.'
As Networkers and Team Leaders, we stand as an example
to the rest of our people, and the foundation of our
business is Duplication.
Set the stage with yourself first then your team members,
realizing that each of you has a role to play in the
success of all members.
Do not worry if you do not have the answers to every
question. Throw the problem out to your team and
brainstorm the problem for effective results.
Get active, keep active Share the results you
experience and watch what happens.
